About

A company being built to be checked.

Golden Ceiba is in incorporation. What follows is what we are for, who is accountable, and how the company is structured — nothing that cannot be verified today.

Purpose

Make a small gold operation durable enough to be audited.

Most small West African gold ventures fail in the same two ways: they build before they know what is in the ground, and they produce gold nobody international can legally buy. Golden Ceiba exists to do neither. We prove ground with a licensed sampling program first, and we document every gram to the standard a refiner audits against — from the beginning, not retrofitted later.

That is a slower start. It is also the only version of this business that a host government, a refiner and a partner can all live with.

Values

Four things we do not trade away.

Proof before capital

No plant is ordered, and no scale is promised, before an agreed grade over a defined volume has been measured.

Documented from the first gram

Authorization, assay, origin, royalties and transport — recorded as the work happens, because reconstruction after the fact is worthless.

Zero facilitation

No facilitation payments, anywhere in the chain. Everything we do has to survive a refiner’s audit, which protects our partners as much as us.

Present, not remote

We are operators, not brokers. The people responsible for the program are on the ground where the program runs.

Leadership

Three named people, accountable by name.

Morris Neiland

Chief Executive Officer

Leads the venture and runs the commercial and government-facing side. Based in Berlin; on the ground in West Africa from September 2026.

Patrick Koltermann

Chief Operating Officer

Head of operations. Runs the ground program, the crew and logistics. On the ground in West Africa from September 2026.

Liam Neiland

Chief Financial Officer

Runs finance and treasury of the Dubai holding company, including payment discipline and the documentation trail behind it.

We publish names and responsibilities rather than portraits. Anyone assessing us should be checking the people, not the photography.

Corporate structure

A holding company in Dubai, operations through a local subsidiary.

  • Holding company — in incorporation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; operational September 2026. It holds the venture, the capital and the treasury.
  • Operating subsidiary — operations are conducted through a company incorporated locally in the host country in West Africa, holding the ground rights and employing the field crew under local law.
  • Where the work sits — authorization, permits, hiring and royalties sit with the local subsidiary. Governance, funding and the chain-of-custody standard sit with the holding company.
  • Partnership with the State — a formal partnership is envisaged as the operation scales and justifies it.

Golden Ceiba is in incorporation and does not yet operate. No statement here should be read as describing an existing operation.
